Rochester Man Arrested On Another Drunken Driving Charge: Portsmouth Police Log

Man arrested on stalking charges twice in 90 minutes; NY man faces ID fraud, weapon charges; teen arrested on stolen property, drug charges.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Patrick H. McDonald, 60, of Holland Road in Schenectady, New York, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 13 on identity fraud and carry-sell weapons-switchblades, etc. charges. He was arrested after police were sent to a State Street business after a staffer reported fraud and accused a man of posing as one of the business' customers.

Melissa Jane Varney, 43, of Grove Street in Dover was arrested at 10:44 a.m. on Dec. 13 on fraudulent use of a credit card and theft of lost or mislaid property charges. She was arrested on a warrant.

William M. Harris, 61, of Rochester Hill Road in Rochester was arrested at 9:50 a.m. on Dec. 13 on two interference with custody of child charges. He was arrested on a warrant.

A 17-year-old was arrested at 10:38 a.m. on Dec. 12 on receiving stolen property and unlawful dealing in prescription drugs charges. He was arrested after an incident on Parrott Avenue.

Bricky A. Butler, 61, of Manor Drive in Portsmouth was arrested on a bench warrant at 9:06 a.m. on Dec. 8 after police were sent to Islington and Pearl streets for a wanted person-fugitive call.

Elizabeth N. Fortune, 59, of Mill Street in Dover was arrested at. 3:12 p.m. on Dec. 5 in theft by unauthorized taking and tampering with witnesses and informants charges. She was arrested in Dover on the Portsmouth warrant.

George William Haseltine IV, 39, of Juniper Street in Rochester was arrested at 11:35 p.m. on Nov. 30 on driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated-second offense, and transporting alcoholic beverages charges and a solid line violation. A driver reported being almost run off the Route 1 Bypass near the Islington Street overpass. The suspect vehicle was stopped on the Spaulding Turnpike north near Exit 1. After field sobriety tests, he was arrested.

Sean Clemens, 28, of Islington Street in Portsmouth was arrested at 10:09 a.m. on Nov. 23 on stalking and criminal trespass charges. He was arrested after an incident on State Street. At 11:37 a.m., he was arrested again on stalking and criminal trespass charges after an incident on Islington Street.
