Teen Throws Rock Through Highland Street Window: Log

Portsmouth Police: Madbury man arrested on firearm charge; Kittery man arrested for assault.

PORTSMOUTH, NH – A 13-year-old, two 14-year-olds, and two 15-year-olds, were taken into protective custody at 9:52 p.m. on March 15, 2016. Another 13-year-old was charged with criminal mischief. Police were sent to Highland Street for a report of a kid throwing a rock through a window. The teens fled the area toward Middle Street. Some of the kids separated at the middle school with a second group heading toward the library, according to dispatch. Six were taken into custody.

Matthew Bombaci, 32, of Old Post Road in Kittery, ME, was arrested at 12:31 p.m. on March 6, 2016, on a simple assault charge. Police were sent to Lafayette Road for a report of an assault with a man in an office while another man fled the area. Bombaci was arrested at the scene.

Steven Corliss, 24, of Perkins Road in Madbury, was arrested at 1:14 p.m. on March 7, 2016, for carrying loaded handgun without a license. Also arrested was Jeremy C. Albert, 29, of South Elderberry Lane of Rochester, for resisting arrest or detention and a parole violation warrant. A clerk at a Gosling Road hotel reported a man with a gun in his pocket and staff were investigating “yelling and screaming” in one of the rooms. The man reportedly hid the gun in a backpack after they went to the room, and the man and woman went down to the lobby, according to dispatch. Police arrived and detained a subject behind a dumpster at McDonald’s Restaurant.

A 16-year-old was arrested at 9:20 a.m. on March 9, 2016, for theft from a building and criminal liability for conduct of another. The teen was arrested on a warrant.

A 17-year-old was arrested at 2:57 p.m. on March 9, 2016, for theft from a building, unlawful possession of alcohol, and criminal liability for conduct of another. The teen was arrested on a warrant.

Truman Keck, 22, of Austin Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. on March 9, 2016, for unarmed robbery. Police were sent to Lafayette Road for a report of a person trying to steal food from the store. “The male is agitated but is cooperative,” according to the report. Keck was then arrested.
