Rye United 300/250- Step Back in Time: “The Odiorne Point 16th Century Walk”
Discover the Foundations of New Hampshire and the Birth of Rye!
Before the bustling seacoast we know today, there was a rugged frontier, a convergence of cultures, and a singular moment in 1623 that changed everything. We invite you to join us for an immersive Century Walk through the hallowed grounds of Odiorne Point State Park.
This isn't just a hike- it’s a journey through the 1600s. We will trace the footsteps of the early settlers and the Indigenous peoples who knew this land long before, exploring the triumphs and tribulations that eventually forged the Town of Rye.
