2. State police released a photo of a man suspected of trying to abduct a boy after approaching him in a Wawa bathroom. The 7-year-old child was able to escape after the man grabbed him Sunday, and police are looking to apprehend the suspect. (Read more on Patch.)

3. A teenager and five others were hospitalized after being rescued from the ocean Sunday afternoon, said National Park Service officials. The beach, part of Sandy Hook’s Gateway National Recreation Area, did not have a lifeguard on duty at the time. (Read more on Patch.)

4. Penny, a 522-pound great white shark, was swimming just off the coast of Ocean City early on Memorial Day. According to researchers, the juvenile shark was swimming near the beach shortly before 7 a.m. Monday. (Read more on Patch.)

5. Four people died in a fiery crash in Sussex County, including a retired Newark police officer and his children, ages 5 and 12. The driver of the second vehicle in the crash also died, according to officials. (Read more on Patch.)
