1. A man was using a power tool when he was electrocuted inside a garage during a storm, police said. The man was inside his Cranford garage when lightning struck, shocking him but not causing life-threatening injuries according to officials. First responders took him to the hospital. 2. A dolphin that became stranded in a marshy creek has died, said marine mammal activists. The eight-foot dolphin was stuck in a muddy creek that runs off the Arthur Kill, and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center retrieved it and took it to a veterinarian. (Read more on Patch.)

3. Someone stole a wooden carving of the Jersey Devil from Lucille's Luncheonette in Warren Grove, and the owners are pleading for him back. The statue was broken in the process, they added, and security footage may have captured the theft in progress. (Read more on Patch.)

4. The body of a North Jersey hiker was recovered after he died in an avalanche in Washington four months ago. Yun Park, 66, was one of three climbers killed while attempting to climb Colchuck Peak in February. (Read more on Patch.)

5. Several cars stopped to watch an apparent funnel cloud form in the skies of Somerset County, as severe storms began to move into the state. Heavy rain, lightning, and thunder hit the area, and the cloud appeared to be forming Sunday evening. (Read more on Patch.)
