New Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center at Freehold Offers Primary & Specialty Care

Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH), New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, has opened the Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center at Freehold, expanding convenient access to high-quality outpatient care. Located on Route 9 in the heart of Monmouth County, the Freehold facility is the network’s seventh Health and Wellness center, furthering HMH’s commitment to bring comprehensive, accessible care to the communities it serves.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the official opening of the Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center at Freehold, which brings together a growing range of specialties and services, including:

Sparta, FACHE, president, chief operating officer of HMH. “By establishing a health and wellness center that offers primary care, labs, X-rays, and various specialty services, patients can access a majority of the care they need by visiting one convenient location. This patient-centered approach to care makes it easier for people to stay on top of their health and ultimately builds healthier communities.”

Physicians at the Health & Wellness Center at Freehold will use the same electronic health record system as HMH hospitals and outpatient facilities, ensuring comprehensive access to patient information across all points of care and a continuum of care. If a patient visiting the Health & Wellness Center needs a higher level of care, in-network medical teams can seamlessly coordinate their transition to a hospital.

As part of its efforts to expand ambulatory care services, HMH opened the nation’s first Health & Wellness Center in a major travel hub earlier this year.
