Important Update In Asbury Park Fatal Shooting Of Beloved Chef
UPDATE: Prosecutors say they're going to make an "important update" after a 3-month manhunt for the killer of a beloved, up-and-coming chef.

Jehadje Jaquan McMillian was a beloved up-and-coming chef, who garnered his love for cooking while attending the Rugby School.
He worked for Monmouth University, Ocean Place and was soon to join the culinary staff of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., according to his obituary.
Then, in June, Jehadje was shot and killed, another victim in a series of violent gun incidents in Asbury Park in recent months.

Now that an "important update" in the case has been announced, family and friends are looking for hope again since a three-month manhunt has been underway for the killer of the 23-year-old man who showed so much promise.
"Jehadje will forever be loved by so many," his obituary said. "He leaves a legacy of the light spread through the power of kindness, proliferated by a humble and generous spirit. Rest in Paradise Baby Boy !!"

Prosecutors say they're going to make an "important update" in the fatal shooting case at the Jersey Shore at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Prosecutors said several arrests were made, but didn't elaborate.
A manhunt has been underway since Jehadje, of Neptune, was shot and killed near a courtyard area on the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue in Asbury Park, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
McMillian was pronounced dead at 12:15 a.m. on June 15th, according to the MCPO, about an hour after the shooting took place.
