$35K Raised For Family Promise Of The Jersey Shore
Proceeds from the 6th Annual Causeway CARes 5K gave Family Promise of the Jersey Shore a $35,000 donation.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Causeway CARes recently donated $35,000 to Family Promise of the Jersey Shore thanks to their 6th Annual Causeway CARes 5K.
Causeway Family of Dealerships President David Wintrode and team members from Causeway CARes presented Family Promise of the Jersey Shore Executive Director Elizabeth Golla and Family Promise staff with the check.
The 200 attendees and 50 sponsors of the event raised $35,100, according to Causeway CARes. Wintrode matched this amount, making this their most successful 5K to date, according to the nonprofit.

The other half of proceeds went to Project Home Repair.
“We carefully selected Family Promise of the Jersey Shore and Project Home Repair as this year’s 5K beneficiaries because both organizations are on a mission to ensure everyone in Ocean County has a safe, healthy space to call home, which is something that Causeway cares deeply about,” said Wintrode.

Previously known as Family Promise of Southern Ocean County, the nonprofit recently expanded their reach and changed their name.
“As more families in Ocean County struggle with both homelessness and economic uncertainty, Family Promise of the Jersey Shore recognizes the need and has expanded their services in name and geographic footprint,” Golla said at the time.
