Ex-Long Beach Cop Stole $47K From Ocean Co. PBA: Prosecutor

Recently retired Jason Hildebrant, of Forked River, took funds from the regional PBA conference where he served as treasurer, per officials.

LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP, NJ — A recently-retired Long Beach Township police officer and Forked River resident is accused of stealing about $47,000 while he served as treasurer of the New Jersey Policeman's Benevolent Association (PBA)–Ocean County Conference, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.

Jason Hildebrant, 44, was charged with theft by failure to make required disposition, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

Hildebrant "unlawfully withdrew" money from the Association's bank account via ATM and counter withdrawals between October 2018 and December 2022, Billhimer said.
