• Route 202 Senior Townhouse Plan Decreases Number Of Units In Bernards Township (patch.com) — Basking Ridge residents are watching closely as a proposed age-restricted townhouse project on Route 202 is scaled back from 131 to 125 units, with garages added to affordable homes. The Bernards Township zoning board raised questions about density, traffic, and housing needs, and will continue the public hearing with revised plans at a special meeting on Oct. 28. 
• Ridge Girls Volleyball Regroups With Three-Set Win Over Voorhees (tapinto.net) — Ridge High School's girls volleyball team in Basking Ridge bounced back with a three-set win over Voorhees, despite missing star captain Amiya Harish and outside hitter Heather Lee. With players shifting into new roles and rotations, Ridge used strong serving, defense, and balanced hitting to regain confidence before upcoming matches against Immaculata and East Brunswick.
