Too young.

To honor her life and to help her family with medical and household expenses, a spaghetti dinner benefit will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Berkeley Little League-VCC Building located at 43 Moorage Avenue in Bayville.
“Margaret was a loving, supportive and caring soul that suffered through the terrors of melanoma for the last six and half years of her life,” said Edward Cammarato, one of the benefit organizers. ”She placed the lives of those around her above her own, and rarely complained about her pain or let on just how bad she was suffering. Using all remedies available, Margaret refused to surrender.”

When Margaret received her diagnosis, she made it her mission to educate others about the dangers of melanoma, ”The Beast,” Cammarato said.
“Margaret and her family enriched the lives of everyone they came into contact with,“ he said.
The Scarcellas made Bayville their home many years ago. Both of their sons attend the Berkeley Township and Central Regional school districts.
