Beachwood FD Searching For Photos Of Deceased Members

The Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department has asked the public for help locating photos of and identifying three deceased members. They have identified or obtained photos of all life members except for three: Lester A. Exel, Albert O. Ober, and Joseph Firmin.

All three served in the 1920s and 1930s, according to the fire department. They wrote on Facebook Monday night asking the public to help find family members of friends of all three. Several people have replied with potential connections.

"It is important to us to put faces to names and remember each of these dedicated individuals," the department wrote on Facebook. "Unfortunately, we lost many of our department elders and the history they preserved in their memories. We now have older photos which we are trying to properly identify who is in them."
