Beachwood Man Charged In Sawyers Liquor Burglary: Police
Police said the man was arrested after he was identified through surveillance footage.

BEACHWOOD, NJ — A Beachwood man has been arrested after police say he broke into Sawyers Liquor Store on Route 9 in the overnight hours on Oct. 4.
William Swenson, 55, has been charged with burglary and theft in the incident; police said he was seen on video surveillance footage and identified. He was arrested Saturday, Oct. 6 and taken to the Ocean County Jail, Toms River. He was released following a detention hearing, according to the Ocean County Corrections website.
Police did not say what or how much was stolen.

"Beachwood Police would like to thank the public for the phone calls and tips regarding this case," they said in a Facebook post.
