First Day Of School In Lacey District Is Sept. 8

It’s a phrase that many children don’t want to hear in mid-August.

Back to school.

In Lacey Township, students will head back to their prospective schools on Sept. 8, the day after Labor Day. Back to School night at Lacey Township High School will be held two days later, on Sept. 10. The event will run from 6:30 p.m. to at the high school.

The Lacey Township Middle School’s Back to School night will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm. on Sept. 23 at the Middle School.

Back to School nights at the four district’s elementary schools are as follows:

Mill Pond - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Forked River - 6 p.m. to 8:30 pm. on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Lanoka Harbor - 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17.

Cedar Creek - 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24.
