Man Hits Victim With Bat In Berkeley Road-Rage Incident: PD
The man struck the victim several times all over his body with the aluminum bat, police said.
BERKELEY, NJ — Authorities accused a Bayville man of hitting someone with a baseball bat during a road rage incident and driving off Nov. 15, Berkeley police announced Monday.
The alleged victim told police that a man assaulted him with an aluminum baseball bat around Route 9 and Station Road. He was struck several times on his arms, legs and torso before the suspect fled, police said.
Police pulled over a Jeep that matched the suspect's vehicle description. Authorities determined Marino Valenzuela hit the victim with the bat.

Valenzuela, 53, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, possession of weapons for unlawful purposes, unlawful weapons possession, terroristic threats and criminal mischief, police said. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail.
