More Tours Of Central Regional High School Coming Up
It's not your parents' high school anymore.

Want to see the new Central Regional High School?
Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides is inviting former graduates and residents to tour the high school off Forest Hills Parkway in Bayville and see the many improvements made at the massive school over the past several years.
The remaining tours are slated for Nov. 11, Nov. 25, Dec. 2, Dec. 16, Jan. 6, Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and Feb. 17, Parlapanides said in his superintendent’s report on the Central Regional school district website.

All tours begin at 6:30 p.m. and start at Parlapanides’ office, which can be reached through the east gate entrance behind the high school. Anyone unable to attend the specific tour dates can call Parlapanides at his office 732-269-2200, ext. 206.
“I encourage everyone to come see the new and improved Central Regional School District,” he said. ”This is not the school you went to in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, or through 2008! We are offering more academic programs, clubs and sports opportunities than any other school in Ocean County. Our district is a School Choice District which allows students from other districts to attend Central Regional to experience our academic programs like Humanities Academy, a partnership with Georgian Court University, Jump Start throughOcean County College, Army JROTC, AP Courses, Free PSATs for all juniors, and the SAT Boot Camp(free to our students).

Central Regional High School is now an F-1 International School, which is gives students a global competitive edge and cultural exchange needed to be successful in the world today, he said.
