Ocean County Increases Police Presence After Jersey City Killings
There is no specific or credible threat in Ocean County at this time, officials said.

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — The county will increase the presence of law enforcement in the wake of the deadly attack on a Jewish market in Jersey City, officials announced Thursday. The increased presence will take place throughout Ocean County.
There is no specific or credible threat in Ocean County at this time. The county prosecutor's office and sheriff's office made the joint announcement but didn't lay out many details.
“Unfortunately, for the sake of operational effectiveness, it would be counterproductive for us to release specific details about our response at this time,” Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy told the Asbury Park Press.
