“Be nice to each other,” he said. ”Respect each other’s views. There’s always two sides. It’s all about sitting down with someone who has a different opinion and working it out. It’s all about finding that common ground. We’re here for the kids.”
Buscio was first elected to a seat on the board back in 1989, when he served as the Ocean Gate representative when he lived in Ocean Gate. He moved to Bayville later and won a seat as a Berkeley Township representative.

Buscio formally resigned at the meeting. He is leaving to run for a seat on the Berkeley Township Council on the GOP slate. He praised the progress made at Central through the years
“I’ve been through four superintendents and four business administrators,” Buscio said. “I’ve seen a lot...for the most part it’s been good. There’s a lot to be proud of.”
Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides said Buscio would be back at least one more time - at the March meeting to receive a plaque for his years of service.
“He always put the children first,” Parlapanides said. ”I will miss him. It’s a shame we have to accept his resignation.”
