BERKELEY, NJ — After the death of 14-year-old Adriana Kuch, the Berkeley community has rallied to support her family during the time of their tragic loss.

It's not just in Berkeley. Kuch's story of being attacked in school and then taking her own life has spread rapidly, being discussed on CNN and NBC Nightly News and even reaching other countries.

A GoFundMe created by Kuch's aunt to pay for her funeral expenses and legal fees as the family seeks justice had a set goal of $5,000. As of Thursday afternoon, it's at nearly $34,000, with donations continuing to pour in from those who knew her and those who did not.

But much of the support is still coming from the Berkeley community itself. Parents, students and concerned residents are continuing to protest for change and support the Kuch family however they can.

Kuch's classmates recently held a memorial vigil in honor of her, with balloons, candles and flowers. Read more: Memorial Vigil Honors Bayville Teen After Suicide

Financially, more fundraisers are sprouting up to support the Kuch family as well. Blended Prints, a Bayville printing company, is now selling t-shirts reading "@justice4age" (a TikTok account created by her peers raising awareness of her bullying and death) and another reading "#BEkindAdriana." According to Blended Prints, a portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to the Kuch family.

Kuch's father, Michael, works at Cuisine on the Green in Little Egg Harbor. They too are planning a fundraiser, an employee confirmed to Patch, but no solid details are available as of yet.

And in the meantime, her classmates and peers at Central Regional High School continue to fight to keep Kuch's memory alive as they demand change.
