Woman Stole $2.5K In Jewelry From Berkeley Resident's Safe: Cops
Police found woman three days after a Ford Avenue resident noticed things missing from her safe.
BERKELEY, NJ — A woman was charged with theft after $2,500 in jewelry went missing from a Ford Avenue home, Berkeley police announced Thursday. Jessica Haggerty was charged with theft.
The homeowner reported the theft Jan. 24 after noticing the contents missing from her safe. Haggerty, 32, of Bayville, was arrested Jan. 27.
Haggerty was taken to police headquarters and released on a summons.
