• SHEF30 to Celebrate 30 Years of Supporting Somerset Hills Schools (tapinto.net) — Bernardsville families are invited to SHEF30, a major community celebration supporting Somerset Hills schools, on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 3–7 p.m. at the Polo Grounds in town. Expect live music, food trucks, student showcases, a beer garden, local vendors, and family activities, all raising funds to expand educational opportunities across Bernardsville and neighboring Somerset Hills communities.
   

• NJ Transit's Gladstone Branch Weekend Trains Replaced By Buses Through Oct. 10 (patch.com) — If you rely on NJ Transit's Gladstone Branch in Bernardsville, weekend trains are being replaced by buses that will pick up on Route 202, also known as Mine Brook Road. The advisory lists exact boarding spots from Peapack through Summit so riders can adjust their trips while this temporary change is in effect.
   

• Immaculata football program seeks admission to Big Central Conference, could join league in '28 (cjsportsradio.com) — Bernardsville's school district is exploring a move out of the Skyland Conference and Big Central Conference in most sports, including boys' football and girls' flag football, to join the NJAC and Super Football Conference, largely over travel concerns. The same report details Immaculata's separate bid to join the Big Central Conference starting in 2028.
