2 Bloomfield Home Burglaries Reported On Same Day: Police
Both burglaries took place during the daylight hours, Bloomfield police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police responded to a pair of reported burglaries in the township on the same day last week, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to a residence on East Passaic Avenue on a report of a burglary on Nov. 26. The homeowner told police that they found a broken window panel on the front door which may have allowed the suspect to unlock the deadbolt.
The homeowner told police that about $300 in cash was missing from their wallet.

The alleged burglary took place between 3 and 3:15 p.m., the resident told police.

Bloomfield police also investigated a report of a burglary on Watsessing Avenue the same day, authorities said.
According to the homeowner, the incident took place between 1 and 6:30 p.m. The homeowner told officers that they first noticed the burglary when they saw a picture next to the living room had been knocked forward. The burglar may have entered the apartment through an unlocked living room window, police said.
An unspecified amount of jewelry and $15 in change was discovered missing, police said.
