Catalytic Converter Bandits Strike Again In Bloomfield: Police
Bloomfield police responded to Willard Avenue, Hill Street and Cedar Street after getting reports of stolen (and expensive) car parts.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Catalytic converter thieves have struck again in Bloomfield, police announced Wednesday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released a statement about the latest thefts, which took place on Sunday:
“Officers responded to the area of Willard Avenue, Hill Street and Cedar Street on reports of catalytic converter thefts. Owners parked their vehicles overnight and when they returned in the morning, their catalytic converters were cut from the vehicles. Converters are valued at $800 to $1,000. These incidents are under investigation.”
