Help Pull Off A Christmas Miracle For Agape House Women

Spotlight Dance Academy in Bridgewater and Mass Mutual NJ-NYC are collecting items to gift to homeless women in Somerville on Friday.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Let's see if we can help pull off a last minute Christmas miracle for the homeless at the Agape House in Somerville.

Warren local and owner of the Bridgewater-based Spotlight Dance Academy of NJ, Catherine Heldt and Abby Vesuvio of Mass Mutual NJ-NYC are working together to ask locals to help bring holiday gifts to 16 single women that are in their 20s or 30s at the Agape House.

They are in need of basic needs items such as toiletries, pajamas, leggings, T-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear, socks, and more. Heldt also needs gift bags to stuff items into. Items must be unwrapped, all sizes needed.

"The holiday party is tomorrow and there is nothing for them," Heldt said.

If you would like to donate, Heldt will be at her dance studio at 1910 Washington Valley Road in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater collecting from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Heldt will deliver the items on Friday.
