No Credible Threat To Bridgewater From 'Day Of Hate' Posts: Police
Social media postings have drawn law enforcement attention nationally, Bridgewater Township Police said, but no real threat has been found.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police say social media posts referencing a "National Day of Hate" have not been found to have any credible threat in New Jersey, but they are taking steps to be prepared just in case.
"We are aware of the threats. However, according to [New Jersey State Police] there are no credible threats in NJ. We have been in contact with some of our religious affiliations in town and are working with them. Regarding patrol tactics we are aware of the threat and have planned accordingly," said Bridgewater Police Chief John Mitzak.
Although there have been no credible threats in Bridgewater Township and New Jersey associated with social media posts circulating that reference a supposed "National Day of Hate" on Saturday, Feb. 25 - many local police departments are taking precautions.
