NATURAL HABITAT
Christie has become known for using the town hall meeting format to his advantage, as a recent Wall Street Journal report described:
“The town hall is one of Mr. Christie’s favorite settings: a 90-minute gathering that often devolves into political spectacle, with fans and foes clashing and his brash personality being tested by New Jersey’s brash populace.”
Christie’s propensity for the forum hasn’t stopped his critics from taking their shots, though. One teacher’s now-infamous public debate with Christie during a town hall meeting in Raritan has eclipsed 1.35 million views on YouTube.
