School Boards In The Caldwells: 2019 Election Results (UPDATED)

CALDWELLS, NJ — Residents of Caldwell, North Caldwell and West Caldwell headed to the polls for the 2019 general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. In addition to statehouse and county races, voters chose representatives on their local boards of education.
Residents in the Caldwells also voted on borough council representatives. See those results.

CALDWELL-WEST CALDWELL BOARD OF EDUCATION
Voters who live in the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School District chose between three candidates for two open seats on the board of education. Each term lasts three years.

With 16 of 16 districts reported, pending official certification, it appears Marie Lanfrank and Dan Cipoletti have emerged victorious.
According to the Essex County Clerk’s Office, the unofficial results are:
- Dan Cipoletti - 1,840 (34.26%)
- Christopher Elko - 1,318 (24.54%)
- Marie Lanfrank - 2,150 (40.04%)
WEST ESSEX REGIONAL BOARD OF EDUCATION
Caldwell voters who live in the West Essex Regional Public School District chose between four candidates for two open seats on the board of education. Each term lasts three years.
With four of four districts reported, pending official certification, it appears Jill Marcus and Jann Skelton have emerged victorious.
According to the Essex County Clerk’s Office, the unofficial results are:
- Judith Amorim Dias - 634 (21.43%)
- Jill Marcus - 854 (28.86%)
- Anthony Prinzo - 646 (21.83%)
- Jann Skelton - 824 (27.85%)
NORTH CALDWELL SCHOOL BOARD
Robert Projansky ran unopposed for the lone open seat on the board of education at the North Caldwell Public School District.
According to the Essex County Clerk’s Office, with four of four districts reported, the unofficial results are:
- Robert Projansky - 945 (98.44%)
- Write-In - 15 (1.56%)
