• Chatham Bailey's Warriors Fun Run Registration Now Open: How To Join (patch.com) — Chatham families are invited to sign up for the Bailey's Warriors Fun Run at Cougar Field on Sunday, Oct. 18, with activities running from mid-afternoon into early evening. Organized by Chatham High School's Students Against Cancer Club and Bailey's Warriors, the free event supports cancer-related causes through donations benefiting Memorial Sloan Kettering and The Bailey's Warriors Foundation.

• Red Cross urges blood donations, announces October drives across New Jersey (wrnjradio.com) — Two Red Cross blood drives are coming up right in Chatham, at Chatham High School on Oct. 12 and the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township on Oct. 18. Residents can choose from many other New Jersey dates as well, with donors receiving e-gift card rewards and easy scheduling through the Red Cross app or phone line.

• Morris County Tournament 2026 field hockey bracket, schedule, scores (dailyrecord.com) — Chatham High School's field hockey team has earned the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Morris County Tournament, with its first home game coming against the winner of Parsippany vs. St. Elizabeth/Morris Catholic. Early rounds run through Oct. 21 at higher seeds' fields, with semifinals and finals set for Oct. 24 and 27 in Boonton.
