10-Year-Old Cinnaminson Student Made Threats To Students At Eleanor Rush School: Police
The threats were made via Twitter.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- A 10-year-old student in the Cinnaminson School District was charged with threatening students at the Eleanor Rush School earlier this week, Cinnaminson Police said in a letter to parents and residents that was posted on Facebook.
Police were made aware of the threat on Tuesday night, Oct. 25, and immediately launched an investigation to determine who wrote the post and increased its police presence at all district schools to provide an extra layer of security for students and staff.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant and the seizure of electronic devices that led police to identify the perpetrator.

After conferring with the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Cinnaminson Police released the student to their parents, pending the filing of complaints. The student was not identified in the letter.
The incident comes after a 14-year-old student was arrested in a ‘creepy clown’ incident at the Middle School earlier this month.
In this week’s letter, Public Safety Director Michael King reiterated the police department’s “zero tolerance” policy toward threats in the school.
