Cinnaminson High School Football Team Third in Power Points Standings Through Four Games

Cinnaminson is undefeated, but behind two one-loss teams in the Central Jersey Group II standings posted on nj.com.

At the halfway point to the cutoff mark, the Cinnaminson High School football team is No. 3 in the Central Jersey Group II Power Points Standings posted on nj.com.

At 4-0, the Pirates have 34 points, four points behind No. 2 Delaware Valley (3-1, 38 points). At 3-1, Roselle is No. 1 with 43 points.

Power points are calculated based on the size of the schools a team has defeated, and the number of wins that team has.

Despite being undefeated, the Pirates are stuck behind two one-loss teams due to their strength of scheduled through four games. Three of their four opponents have yet to win a game this season.

Thus far, Cinnaminson has defeated Robbinsville (Group 2, 0-4), Willingboro (Group 2, 0-4), Bordentown (Group 2, 3-1) and Hamilton West (Group 3, 0-3).

The top eight teams in each group after the first eight games of the season qualify for the playoffs. Only a team’s seven best wins of their first eight games count toward qualifying for the playoffs.
