"FURRY ANGELS" - LOCAL CHAPTER OF BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL THERAPY DOGS WILL BE AT SOUTH JERSEY'S FIRST PET SYMPOSIUM ON APRIL 5th!

Hello, Patch Pet Lovers!

The "FURRY ANGELS" of "BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL THERAPY DOGS" joins South Jersey's First Pet Symposium - "Integrative Care & Responsible Pet Parenting"

Do you have the absolute sweetest pet… of course, we all do!!!
Is your pet really, really special… of course, all of our pets are!!!

Well, then… how about this:  Does your pet love being out and about, enjoy the company of children, snuggling with and being hugged by strangers… what would happen if you walked away; would he or she be comfortable with that?  Is your puppy nonreactive to sounds and smells and strange surroundings?

Have you ever considered your special furry poochie becoming a therapy dog, making a difference in someone's life, providing comfort to others?

Ever wondered if your dog would qualify to be a therapy dog or would like your furry baby to become a certified therapy dog… you will have the opportunity to speak with Dawn Gaudenti, Furry Angels Therapy Dog Handler & Trainer, and meet her therapy dog, Tori (the gorgeous Chocolate Lab sporting an army cap) at South Jersey's First Pet Symposium - "Integrative Care & Responsible Pet Parenting" in Palmyra on April 5th.

About the Furry Angels…

The "FURRY ANGELS" is a local chapter of "BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL THERAPY DOGS"  visiting facilities in Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and Burlington County.  We provide "Read to a Dog" programs at schools and libraries, and provide comfort to patients in hospitals, long term care and acute care facilities.

Therapy Dog handlers are volunteers who have trained their dogs under the guidance of Sharon Gaboff from ENCHANTED PAWS TRAINING & GROOMING in Freehold.  The dog and handler work as a team and are required to pass a test to become Certified and Insured with BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL THERAPY DOGS  in Morris Plains, NJ.

We have several teams that have been providing volunteer service at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst since 2010.  The dogs visit adults and children at various facilities on the base.  The dogs are a welcomed sight to troops returning from deployment.

Many Furry Angels are rescues from Adopt-a-Pet in Freehold.  For rescue or training information please contact Sharon at 732-462-5184.
