Hot Temps Prompt Reminder Of Burlington Co. Cooling Station Locations

The "feels-like" temperature is going to be more than 100 degrees for the next few days, according to AccuWeather.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Dangerously hot conditions are expected to return to the Garden State this week with "feels-like" temperatures up to 104 degrees, weather forecasters said.

The surge of very hot air this week could actually prove to be the hottest weather of the year, AccuWeather meteorologists said.

Mindful of the risk for heat-related illness that such hot temperatures may bring, we've listed Burlington County's official cooling stations below.

Besides keeping yourself cool during a heat wave, it is also important that everyone try and check on their neighbors to ensure they are also staying cool, according to Herb Conaway, director of the Burlington County Health Department.

"Let's take precautions to avoid any unnecessary illnesses or tragedies," he said.
