Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Burlington County

The third-place ticket is worth $50,000.

It may not have been the historic jackpot of $500,000,000, but someone who purchased a Powerball ticket in Burlington County did come up big Wednesday night.

A ticket purchased at Eickhoff Burlington Associates in Burlington Township matched four white balls and the Powerball for the Wednesday, Jan. 6 drawing that had a jackpot of over $500 million. The third-place ticket brought in $50,000.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 drawing were 2, 11, 47, 62, and Powerball 17.

There were six other third-place tickets sold in New Jersey, one of which brought in $150,000 because it included the “Powerplay” option.

Since there were no jackpot winners Wednesday night, the Powerball top prize is expected to reach nearly $800 million for Saturday’s drawing.
