$10,000 Lottery Ticket Sold In Union County

3 lottery tickets, including one sold in Union County, won the NJ Mega Millions $10,000 third-tier prize for the Tuesday, Sept. 3 drawing.

ELIZABETH, NJ —Three lottery tickets, including one sold in Elizabeth, won the New Jersey Mega Millions $10,000 third-tier prize for the Tuesday, Sept. 3 drawing.

The Union County ticket was sold at Kings Rt. 1 Truck Stop, at 828 Routes 1 & 9, in Elizabeth. The two other were sold in Hackensack and Freehold.

All three of the tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning. The winning numbers were: 13, 20, 27, 61 and 62. The Gold Mega Ball was 5, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 2.

In addition, 13 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,000. Moreover, 27,627 other New Jersey players took home $104,082 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400, according to James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director.

The next drawing will be held Friday, Sept. 6 at 11 p.m.
