$515K Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Ticket Sold In Union County

HILLSIDE, NJ — A ticket sold in Union County won the $515,592 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday, Oct. 15 drawing.

The ticket matched all five numbers drawn, which were: 3, 07, 14, 23 and 38 and the XTRA number was: 3.

The winning ticket was sold at Krauszer’s Food Store, 1412 Liberty Ave., in Hillside.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Krauszer’s Food Store. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner," Acting Executive Director James Carey said.

There were 539,144 tickets purchased for the drawing. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 109 ticket holders won $439 each and 12 others won $1,317 each with the addition of XTRA.

Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 3,712 ticket holders won $13 each and 572 others won $39 each with the addition of XTRA.

Lastly 7,078 ticket holders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
