The business has been on South Avenue for 22 years and is family operated. Residents have grown accustomed to seeing familiar faces behind the counter, including Mike's father Gregorio (better known as "Pop"), and at their door with longtime delivery man John Levins. "They all ask for John when ordering delivery," says Sciortino.
"I just like the way it tastes," says regular customer and Garwood resident Bill Severage. "The dough is very consistent. At other pizzerias the pizza tastes totally different depending on which employee makes it. Here it's always the same. It's fresh, priced right, delivery is always right on time.
