And the Winner is...The Rice Bowl in Clark

It was a close race.

In this week's Readers' Choice poll we asked you to tell us your favorite place for Chinese food in Clark and Garwood. With 44 percent of the vote, took the top honors, just beating by four votes.

When we posted a link to the poll on Facebook, lots of you chimed in to tell us your pick. Geoffrey Sandler wrote, "Rice Bowl, Clark. Nothing else even comes close."

Fans are equally enthusiastic on the Rice Bowl's Yelp! page.

"Best Chinese food ever!," wrote one reviewer. "Through all my years moving around and whatnot, I have not found another Chinese restaurant that compares to the Rice Bowl. The fried rice and Orange Chicken are the best! I won't eat Chinese anywhere else now."

Another Yelp!er wrote, "They have a great orange chicken dish with fresh orange slices, not those dried disgusting peels that most places use. The chicken pieces in all the dishes are large, lightly breaded real white meat pieces that are always excellent. None of that mystery meat here. ... They make great homemade egg rolls and I also recommend the Chicken Chow Fun."
