Casper Is Clark's Pet Of The Week

CLARK, NJ — Meet Casper! He has been chosen as Clark/Garwood Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"This is Casper, my Maltese.

I named him Casper (after Casper the Friendly Ghost) because he was born at the end of October.

Why do I think he is so special? He is not only one of my best friends but he loves me unconditionally. We have fun; he makes me laugh. When "Dancing with the Stars" is on TV, I think he believes he is a member of the cast. He loves to dance.

All he needs is an occasional treat and some hugs to make him happy. I couldn't ask for a better pet."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
