Clark Daisy Troop Serve Up Lunch, Treats to Police
The kindergarten troop completed the project to earn the "Respect Authority" petal as part of the Blue Lives Matter project.

CLARK, NJ — Girl Scout troop 40710 of Clark has began earning their "petals" toward becoming a Daisy.
The first petal they earned for the year was the Gerri Petal, learning how to respect authority.
"We chose to focus on helping our community, that being said we did our service project for the Clark Police Department," said troop leader Genevieve Cece and co-leader, Danielle Fidurski Miller.

Each girl at their last meeting was busy filling paper bags for their "Survival Kit for Law Enforcement."
Lifesavers, smarties, Hershey Kisses, Gum, Tootsie Roll, Peppermint Patty, Mounds, and Laffy Taffy and were placed into bags totaling 43 bags.

Each of the parents signed up to purchase lunch for the officers, soda, chips, fruit, paper products, and two sandwich platters were even donated by our ShopRite of Clark.
Everything was delivered to the station Tuesday afternoon just in time for lunch.
At the meeting Officer Brain Sous came in and spoke to the girls about stranger danger, medication, and 911. The troop then presented the officer with the bags.
