Clark Named Among NJ's Safest Towns

SafeWise released the 50 Safest Cities in New Jersey for 2018.

CLARK, NJ — Clark was named among the safest towns in New Jersey, according to a report released by SafeWise.

SafeWise released the report of the 50 Safest Cities in the Garden State for 2018 on Monday. Clark came in at number 35.

To compile this report, SafeWise analysts reviewed the most recent 2016 FBI crime statistics and population data. The evaluation is based on the number of reported violent crimes (aggravated assault, murder, rape and robbery) in each city per 1000 people. If there was a tie, we also factored in the number of property crimes (burglary, arson, larceny-theft, and car theft).
