Clark Youth Hosting Hurricane Relief Drive

Walmart gift cards are being collected to give to families in Texas and Florida who were severely affected by Hurricane Harvey and Irma.

CLARK, NJ — Youth Clark members are running a Hurricane Relief Drive to help the families in Texas and Florida who were severely affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

"Being that the shelters and distribution centers in these states have been overwhelmed with donations of cleaning and household supplies, etc., they’re limited on space to house additional donations of this type. We also are cognizant that we want to make 100 percent of our efforts and donations reach the families in these areas," Clark Recreation stated.

Walmart gift cards are being collected to give to families in need of assistance, via local family-based programs in the affected Florida and Texas areas. The cards will allow families to buy clothes, food or supplies as necessary. Walmart stores are located in both states making it the store of choice.
