Construction To Close Walnut Avenue For 8 Nights In Clark, Cranford
The road will be closed overnight from about 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Walnut Ave. from South Ave. to Valley Rd. in Cranford and Clark.

CLARK, NJ — Construction on Walnut Avenue from South Avenue to Valley Road in Cranford and Clark begins on Wednesday night. Work is expected to take about eight nights to complete, weather permitting.
The road will be closed overnight from about 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning, Clark Police announced.
The work being performed will consist of various road improvements, such as milling, paving and striping of the road.

A marked detour will be in place with emergency vehicles on site at all times.
Access to homes, including deliveries and other services, will be allowed as much as possible. However, parking will be prohibited on Walnut Avenue within the work zone during the operation of milling and paving.
