Watching President Trump and our First Lady, Melania, on their trip to England made me proud that they are representing the USA abroad. They were welcomed warmly and I understand that his approval rating has risen with the Brits. Unfortunately here in the United States a segment of the population does not view him favorably.
I have come to the conclusion that it wouldn’t have mattered which Republican had been elected in 2016. The Democratic Party cannot comprehend how their candidate, Hillary Clinton, had lost the election. The fact that she is obviously a cold person and does not recognize her own shortcomings is foreign to them. I believe it was during the third debate she herself brought up the subject of the Russians tampering with our elections. She also went on to castigate candidate Trump for not committing to accept the outcome of the election should he loose, Clinton was not asked that same question. Well, she lost and has yet to completely accept the fact that she was not a strong enough candidate to beat him perhaps even with help of the powers that be. (Not going into that mess in this letter.) Hillary just doesn’t get it and is a sour, miserable loser sitting there feeling sorry for herself and not allowing her own wounds to heal. And there are those who have climbed on her band wagon because their own efforts to foil Trump were unsuccessful and they are not quite sure what the future holds for them now that AG Barr has been given the go ahead to release piles of documents related to the Russia investigation. Notice how the plot has thickened.
Immediately after the ’16 election the Dems went on the attack against Trump pulling shenanigans of all sorts with many threatening to start impeachment proceedings. And a couple among them like Rep. Maxine Waters of California started chanting “Impeach 45” even before he was sworn in. They declared that the Mueller Investigation would provide the evidence to remove this president from the White House. Millions of taxpayer dollars later the Democrats are woefully disappointed as there was no collusion found and for all intents and purposes Trump and his campaign were vindicated.

The House of Representatives is still on the march and now criticize Robert Mueller, their not so long ago hero, as not having done a through enough job. They remain convinced after almost 2yrs of investigating that there is something not uncovered and are moving forward on their own to poke into Trump’s personal and business records. No less than three congressional committees have subpoenaed his records. House speaker Nancy Pelosi has promised to continue the harassment of the president and his family and has actually said the same adding “I’ll be satisfied when we have a new president of the United States who is Democrat”. So it is reasonable to conclude that it wouldn’t matter which Republican it was who won beating Hillary Clinton.
Rep. Al Green, Dem. of Texas has been calling for impeachment since 2017 and recently told MSNBC Saturday that he is "concerned if we don’t impeach this president, he will get re-elected." If that doesn’t say it all I don’t know what does. To call for the removal of a POTUS because your candidate lost and you don’t like the one elected is absolutely outrageous. To think that because one holds an elected office that one knows better than us average citizens wouldn’t be looked upon kindly by most voters. I doubt that this is what the founding fathers had in mind.
