ALJ High School Early Dismissal and Back to School Night

Because of tonight's Back to School Night, students at Arthur L. Johnson will follow an early dismissal schedule today, with dismissal at 12:05 p.m.

Parents of ALJ students are invited to ALJ's annual Back-to-School Night on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. This evening affords parents the opportunity to meet their children’s teachers and to understand the expectations the teachers have for their particular courses. 

The evening will begin with a brief presentation in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m., which will provide an overview of Arthur L. Johnson High School. After the presentation, parents will follow an abbreviated version of their children's schedules to visit their teachers. Parents will receive a copy of their children's daily schedules via e-mail on Friday, September 16. Student representatives will be available to assist with the reading of the student schedule and to direct parents around the building. 

Teachers will not be able to address individual concerns during the evening. You may make an appointment to discuss specific concerns with teachers if needed.
