Recently I saw an article written by a Garwood resident regarding the serious lack of civility in this year’s campaign by the Garwood Democrats. The author wrote “Democrats are not offering any solutions to what they caused. They are just out there doing more smearing and divisive tactics to tear up our town.” No surprise, these are the same Garwood Democrats that spread rumors that my kids do not live in Garwood so they would get expelled. Not only did Democratic candidates Blumenstock, Lazerow and Graham embrace the disgusting remarks by Paul Tarantino, but they appointed him their Chairman and and appointed him to the Garwood Planning Board. The screenshot is the Facebook post about my kids that had over 100 comments. KIDS ARE OFF LIMITS.
The continued smear tactics by The Blumenstock, Lazarow, Graham Democrats could not be more evident in the recent mailing that was distributed filled flat out lies meant to destroy the character of three honest individuals in Joe Nicastro, William Bellomo and Victor Stevens. There were things in there that don’t even make sense but this is coming from the same team that claimed that there isn’t a $5.941 Million dollar debt when there clearly is. They told us there would be townhouses for sale but instead gave us nearly 500 apartments for rent, and said they would negotiate with the developers of those apartments to pay for the new firetruck but that never happened either. Even going as far as claiming to currently being a substitute teacher, seriously who does that, so are we really surprised? The Democractic campaign has detereorated into nothing more than divisive, fabrication with zero solutions for the mess the created.
Garwood, as a father, as a parent, a neighbor, and coach to many of your kids, I am asking you to do what is right and not allow this sort of thing go on anymore. We need to send a message on November 5th that we are sick of the smear tactics, we need to be better than this we are better than this. We are Garwood. I ask everyone to join me and vote Line B, Victor Stevens, Joe Nicastro, and William Bellomo on Tuesday November 5th.
