I'm tired of the Garwood Republican Party trying to divide us.
At the end of the day, we are all Garwood.
I am really fired up about the door drop by the Rs that says, "An army veteran, Bill is Garwood." The veteran part isn't it, but it's the other bit. Totally not #OneGarwood.
I recently came across a handout delivered by the Garwood Republican campaign and it left me floored! Not only is it filled with the usual sound bites, empty promises, and lack of detail, but it was actually the bio section that shocked me this time.

Why is a candidate any more Garwood than me? I do not vote to award nice titles, but rather seek to hire the best people for the job. I want to support candidates who seek to work for everyone and represent everyone.
We all live here. Some of us have lived here for a few years, some of us have lived here their whole lives. Some of us rent, some of us own. Some of us have children, some of us do not. Some of us have the time to volunteer, some of us do not. But at the end of the day, we are all Garwood. Garwood would not be the great place it is through the work of one person alone. Rather it is a community effort.

I plan to cast my vote on November 5th for the Democratic team of Jen Blumenstock, Marc Lazarow, and Russ Graham because they understand that we are all Garwood. They work for us to answer our questions, keep us safe by properly equipping our departments, beautify our town, and keep the taxes in check. They bring us together. I'm tired of the local Republican Party trying to divide us.
