Lottery Ticket Sold At Clark Grocery Store Wins $86K

CLARK, NJ — Three Jersey Cash 5 tickets, including one sold in Clark, split the $258,111 jackpot from the Saturday, Dec. 1 drawing. Each ticket is worth $86,037.

The tickets matched all five numbers, which were: 6, 8, 12, 19 and 27 and the XTRA number was 4.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Union County: Acme #1782, 1060 Raritan Rd., Clark,
• Hudson County: Little Market, 400 Newark St., Hoboken,
• Hudson County: Latino’s Liquor Store, 5115 Hudson Ave., West New York.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Little Market, Latino’s Liquor Store, and Acme #1782. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners," Acting Executive Director James Carey said.

There were 342,947 tickets purchased for the drawing. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 115 ticketholders won $224 each and 36 others won $896 each with the addition of XTRA.

Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 3,088 ticketholders won $10 each and 560 others won $40 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 5,717 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
