Retirement Workshop Sponsored by Clark Recreation

Clark Recreation Center is sponsoring an educational workshop called Rejuvenate Your Retirement, this May. The workshop is available to anyone interested in attending – registrants do not have to be Clark residents. The 4-hour workshop is being offered on Tuesday afternoons, starting Tuesday, May 15th, from 1 – 3 p.m. and concluding on Tuesday, May 22nd, from 1 – 3 p.m. The workshop is broken up into two 2-hour parts, so you must attend both parts to complete the course.

Rejuvenate Your Retirement is offered by the Financial Educator’s Network of Central Jersey. The Financial Educator’s Network features experts in the financial field teaching this and other educational workshops throughout the country at colleges, schools and community centers. The course is $39 per person, and each registrant may bring a spouse or guest at no additional charge. Each registrant will receive a course textbook to take home with them, which must be shared if a guest attends.

Rejuvenate Your Retirement will help retirees develop a personalized retirement income plan. This comprehensive course covers all the key issues for retirees, such as investment risk management, health care planning and estate planning. You’ll learn how to identify the primary threats to your retirement savings; align your investments with your risk tolerance and objectives, apply strategies to increase SS benefits and maximize the tax efficiency of withdrawals from mutual funds and IRAs.
