Meet the Ghosts in Woodbridge – As New Jersey’s oldest municipality, Woodbridge has had a lot of history in its 342 years. On Saturday, will show a side not typically found in textbooks – the township’s rich history of ghosts, curious incidents and unexplained occurrences from Native American and Colonial days to the present. Twenty-four costumed guides and actors representing famous (and infamous) Woodbridge historical characters will lead tours that include several recognized historical sites. Tours run every 15 minutes from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and start at Parker Press Park, 401 Rahway Avenue in downtown Woodbridge across from Berkeley College. The rain date is Oct. 16 and admission is $5 per person for all walkers; children in strollers are free. A special after-walk “Cast Party with Ghosts & Spirits of Woodbridge” will be held Oct. 15, 10 p.m.-midnight at J.J. Bitting’s, 33 Main Street, Woodbridge.
