PSE&G will be restoring concrete on Haddon Avenue in Camden on Tuesday, Jan. 4 and Wednesday, Jan. 5. There will be a partial road closure of Haddon Avenue southbound between Pine Street and Route 676 and South 9th Street between Newton Avenue and Route 676 for the duration of the work period.

“Since the closure may cause some delays, drivers should plan an alternative route ahead of time,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works.  “While traveling around construction areas, drivers should also use caution, slow down and be aware of the changing traffic patterns.”

Work hours will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
